Why am I still a sprout? i am lvl 57 and have well over 250 hr playtime?

The launch of Stormblood changed the quest requirement from the end of ARR to the end of HW. Your "New Adventurer" status will now last until you complete the level 60 quest "The Far Edge of Fate", the final quest of the Heavensward MSQ chain.

(The other requirement is 168 hours of playtime, but you've already hit that one.)

So yeah, even regarding sprouts as being new is getting a bit ridiculous at this point.

You can remove it yourself if you want. believe it's /nastatus off or some variation thereof.

I still haven't finished the story to start Stormblood, so I still haven't even bought that yet... There are soo many you have to do.. I pretty much stopped doing story before the expac came out so I am extremely behind.

The main reason for the change in requirements is it is actually to allow you to continue to have access to the Novice Network chat channel - once you lose the 'sprout' you will no longer have access to that channel (unless you become a Mentor). So there is a communication reason for the change as well.

So if one would buy a skip potion would they lose the sprout icon no matter of hours played? Just curious.
