Unfortunately, no. Potions/ethers are completely useless at the moment.
Probably going to have to wait for things to be reworked. At the moment the gains from potions and foods is marginal at best. Being the hardcore that I am I generally use them anyway but the difference is minimal and unnoticeable most of the time. But if you have the rescources and the funds to do so, getting yourself in the habit of using them is good practice.
Even the benefits of rank 50 foods is barely noticeable from a DPS perspective.
