i'm honestly disappointed that the touch-pad's functionality was presented as this new gaming feature on a PS4 console and as a PC controller, yet most games use the touch-pad for either hud management, a clunky mousepad, or a simple pause menu.
my request is to allow us to set abilities and actions to the the following during combat: swipe up, swipe down, swipe left, swipe right. if possible, also include left-side press and right-side press or a simple press. these would allow the player to place 5 more abilities/actions upon the current cross-hotbar system.
of course it would be fair to include these as optional settings.

I semi agree with u too but at the same time the touch pad would need some calibration on top of that. There are times when my hand accidentally touch it and I mouse click something where my mouse was. reason I say this because I can see people (me) swipe up by accident and use a skill like hallowed ground or something and waste it. just saying I like it but then the mouse feature with the touch pad would either have to be removed or optional and I rather keep it as a mouse for alliance click heals and etc.

overall, even though you may need to be more careful with your controller, the trade off is up to 5-8 possible free spaces to place abilities.
