The usual disclaimer: This list is not meant to be a 100% accurate representation of the game population, it's just meant to provide ballpark numbers of "active" characters, and it also excludes thousands of new players in order to weed out bots, so be aware of this while interpreting this data.

Although it lists 663,496 characters as active, we probably gained well into the hundreds of thousands of new players that weren't reflected in this survey, though the most interesting data so far is how 4,843 players have transferred off Balmung, and despite this their population is still very high, Gilgamesh is now more in line with other servers, and the popularity of Omega bumped it to be one of the top populated servers, likely more populated than the rest of EU servers if we were to account for new players, as those who made a character to level 30 for the free game time will not be reflected here.
