The sword in the stone doesn't trigger

Steps:
1. Aiming to unlock flight in the zone I
took on "the sword in the stone"
2. Talk to NPC and jump to first lighted up area - quest triggers as expected
3. Jump to next lighted up area mounted - quest won\\'t trigger progress
4. Try again with sprint to jump to same platform - no trigger
5. Try without any buffs up - no trigger
6. Relog and try all possibilities another time - no trigger of progress

Having the quest done on my main character before I am sure I do it as intended and it shoukd even trigger mounted. Please help me unlocking flight on my alt :-/
