Why is accuracy a stat?

The lowest I've seen anyone dip is about 98% accuracy.

Is there any purpose for this to be a stat. Or for it to be on so many items?

I hope you get a 3 hour banhammer again.

I am. It's rare to not be 100% accurate in this game. Just wondering if anyone had any info why it's actually a stat on items.

because lancers rely on missing and miss often.

It seems to make more of a difference at lower levels (or it's the lack of a lot of accuracy gear at low levels?) Either way I couldn't hit a damn thing on my 30 MRD compared to my 50 ARC or even my 50 CNJ. Gonna try acc food and rings next time I play it.

Acc helps a lot when i am solo i have acc weps for solo they help a lot. also some skills will miss hits even w/ the acc buff aka Rage of halone.
