No, you have different types of logs. The Clan Mark Logs aren't an upgraded version of the Unstained Clan Mark Logs, but their own type of item. They can be bought from Ardolain in the Forgotten Knight for 500 Centurio seals each.

If you want that mount you obviously want to buy the tokens/books to buy that mount.
The Unstained Logs are used to buy Illuminati Dark/Taut Gobcoat/Gobtwine, aka the upgrade items for HW-endgame gear. Completly useless if you want the mount, so dont waste your seals on them.
For the mount you only want to buy Clan Mark Logs.
If I remember correctly, it's been a while. Unstained clan mark logs are used for upgrading the shire gear and the Clan mark logs are for the mount and other miscellaneous things.
They are separate types of tomes as said above. So just buy the Clan Mark Logs for they wyvern horn.
