Anyone else notice drop rates changed on mobs after 1.20?

I'm a weaver and tanner, and I frequently go through and farm my mats. In the location where I normally farm for diremite webs, the drop rate has seemed to drop considerably. Where I typically would get maybe one in three kills, now it seems to have went up a staggering 1 in 8 or even 10 kills. I haven't yet tried farming bore hide after the patch. I know they made it drop from more mobs, but I'm wondering if the same has happened to that drop rate, I plan to test my usual farming spot for that as well, and post my results. If they really adjusted the drop rates on important crafting materials I'm gonna /emo.

I could see this happening, as it enables chances at the same amount of items being obtainable by different people.

Before: 2 people with 200 Hides each.
Now: 10 people with 40 hides each.

If the rate as you say has been lowered, this should be the result of it due to SE making it available in more areas. Now more people can farm the item, but it drops less, balancing out the amount of items available to the economy.

I think it's just dumb luck to be honest. I tried farming diremite web and barely got any in an hour, but duoing off diremites with a friend I ended up swimming in the stuff.
