Moogle Nut drop
So last night after a total of about 4 wins, i got the moogle nut.. or whatever it is called. I realized that they actually didn't fix the drop rate or frequency of you getting ANY item at all. So it takes 20 of these nuts to turn into an NPC to get the item of your choice. And on top of that the nut has the same drop rate as a weapon! So instead of a weapon i got this plastic nut made in Korea. How many of you out there even came close to getting 20 drops off ifrit. You have more of a chance to get all the weapons by chance than you do at getting 20 nuts. I really think they need to increase the drop rate on at least the nuts

Hmm I thought they would have given you a bundle of nuts when nuts drop... That would be nice.. being given 3-5 nuts per fight would be great as it would not take 60+ WINS* to get a gosh darn weapon if it doesn't drop for you...
I say 60+ because you're not gonna get a nut every win.. maybe your buddy might...

For all the madness we have to go through to re-trigger the quest they should make at least 1 nut drop every moogle kill.

Just be happy its not a 24 hr spawn with a 2% drop rate haha oh the olden days of ffxi
I still stand by the fact that I will beat him once and be done with quest. The 5 nm are too much for weapons that are just ok.

The main point of the nuts I feel are to pass them around to other players. Secondary is to gather enough for 20 to get a weapon.

The kupo nuts are for you to work as a team together for the sake of the individual who is less off.
For example, there is a person in my LS who wasn't able to get any of the Ifrit weapons he wanted. Therefore, I am passing all my nuts to him so that at least he can get a moogle weapon that he wants.

I wish the drops were a little better for that amount of work...

The problem is with giving nuts to the less fortunate is they are non tradable. Yes it drops to your loot pool and you can then pass it to someone in your party. But as we learned in Ifrit.. someones bad drop streak can turn around really fast. Say for example we start to give all our nuts to one person due to his luck.. then the next 10 fights he gets 4 drops( it happens). Now he already has 6 nuts we gave him and he cannot give these to anyone. So now we have to start over giving someone else nuts and he is stuck with 6 nuts he cant use cause he will no longer get them due to having multiple drops..

I like how this thread is about giving each other our nuts... Phallic much?
