Monk Stat Weights

Sorry but does anyone know this? With the cracked cluster update I'm gonna be finding myself with a lot more materia, so I'm trying to figure out what to get and put on my gear.

As of right now it's looking very much like crit is king for monks, due to the bonus chakra generation.

After that, early testing shows Direct Hit to be the next best simply due to it being very strong, and there hasn't been enough testing (that I've seen) for det and ss for third stat, but I imagine it's probably a wash.

I'm doing full SS /det. Since both those effect our autos and main dmg mnk do is autos. Plus rof doesn't feel like it's there. With new normal omega gear with melds van get to 1993 with food

So far I'm trying SK/s-crit, Crit for well, damages and Forbidden Chakras procs and Sk-s cause it scale well on monks, and because of the réduction of tp cost, we can't run out of tp, and with invigorate it's even harder to run out. It boosts auto attacks, and with GL3 you can go below 2.00 sec recasts, more hit, more chance to Crit, more chance to Crit, more chance to Forbidden Chakra

I've done some auto attack testing, compiling data. based on the formula theory I have crit seems to match up. DH seems to be quite a bit higher percent. I was trying to find skill speed damage buff to auto attack damage but my results have been had some issues. I didn't understand how to pull the swing log, now I do. so I need to start over and do some long term tests with auto attacks using slight changes in material levels.

if I think correctly. the first goal is to find the effects of the stat ratings to damage. then based on that, plug those into a combat simulator to find ideal stat weights. stats seem to have a primary and secondary effect. I think the primary effect is 1% per every 67 stat points. starting point fluctuates based on the stat.

Can anyone confirm if DIRECT CRITICAL HITS trigger Deep Meditation. I have been smacking this training dummy in the teeth for about 10 minutes and haven't seen a single proc from a direct crit. Wanted to reach out because I can be super unlucky...

Bit difficult to prove given chakra generation from Deep Meditation doesn't appear in the chat log, but I can confirm that Direct Critical Hits do indeed trigger Deep Meditation.

Okay, I was going crazy. Waiting for a Direct Crit then seeing if a chakra appeared. Now I can rest :p
