Older player looking for a new home (FC)

Hello, hello! I've been playing FFXIV since closed beta (with a few breaks in-between).

For the following month or two I'll have plenty (too much) time on my hands, and I'd like to invest it in a group of people with a like-minded focus.

I'm a Dark Knight main, some times a paladin and some times a summoner, I mine a lot, am a 70 armorer and aim to slowly (but surely) bring my other crafts to par.
I'm not particularly looking for a static group, but I'd like an FC with plans to tackle content together as a group, be it the older primals or the newer more challenging raids.
Preferably with a medium house (or plans to get one) where people can converge and hang together.


An important note: I'm not interested in joining any FC that has 70 members +, I'd rather be in a smaller/medium sized group that encourages cooperation between players.

Hey there, if you're still looking for a free company the Obsidian Braves is recruiting! We're only as old as Stormblood (I made the FC from scratch with strangers I met shortly after transferring servers) so we're pretty small right now, only 7 members, but a few of us are at endgame and run content together whenever we can. Those who have yet to reach higher level I'm working on psyching up to tackle all the content they've missed and beyond. No house as yet but I've saved up enough gil for a medium in Shirogane if I can click fast enough when the zone opens!

Here's hoping this will be the home I've been looking for.

<STATIC> has a small memberlist (27 people at time of writing, we don't intend to go much over 50, because we prefer the tight-knit feeling where everyone knows each other and the raid teams are stable). We clear stuff at a "normal" pace, so not min-maxing for ranks or whatever, but we aren't going to wait for savage to be nerfed into the ground before we get any kills on it at the same time. We usually clear old primals/raids on a regular basis for fun/loot, as well as POTD farm, and a few of our members level together in frontlines. We also need tanks for our 2nd raid team atm, so in all honesty, relatively convenient lol.
