Can't connect to ANY data center (error 2002)

This has been going on since approximately 11 hours ago (July 6, 11:30am PDT) after the game suddenly disconnected me. I was hoping that this would be fixed after today's maintenance, but alas.

The problem:
I can't get past the main menu. Any time I try to connect to the data center to access my characters (switching to a different data center nets the same results), the screen would freeze for a few seconds, load for few seconds, and then finally hit me with a popup that says "The lobby server connection has encountered an error".

Some solutions that I've tried (that have failed):
- Logging into a different account
- Restarting the computer
- Restarting the router
- Restarting my computer's network settings
- Using google DNS for IPV4 and IPV6

The only other solution that I've seen but haven't tried yet is using a VPN, which I'm not sure I want to shell out a few extra bucks for.

I want to know if anyone has the same issue, maybe around the same time that this happened to me? Or if anyone can offer any other possible solutions or ways that I can determine from where the issue lies?
