Permanent attack buff if HP below a certain amount...

I was screwing around with MH and I remembered one of my favorite sets was Adrenaline +2 as well as Gloves Off +2. For the uninitiated, Adrenaline+2 gave a 40% boost to your attack and def if your HP was below 25%, while gloves off periodically gives you a minute long 50%crit boost/stamina cost redux if certain triggers were met, which I believe was 180 damage taken or 5 minutes in chat. Could either idea work in this game?

not for a permanent buff. Doable, yeah. Just reverse the old spirits within that had a potency increase based on your current max hp, and have it be a minus strike(dmh scales based on health loss) the problem with either is that they promote fighting in low levels of health. The fact that healers exist, would just make this type of mechanic very unorthodox and just not flow with the way content is run. However, I could see something like living dead have that sort of affect put onto it. since in extreme cases or proper timing of the skill the tank would be at 1 hp and have a time limit to allow healers to wait or time healing them up.

I think this would be a cool addition to Living Dead or Hallowed Ground, if anything.

Living Dead: If Walking Dead successfully triggers, and you survive it, gain something like Vengeful Dead, maybe 10-15 seconds of 20-25% increased damage.
Do something similar to Holmgang if you successfully survive an attack that would have killed you.
Paladin.. doesn't really fit that theme, and lets be honest, they don't need the help.

Admittedly I was thinking this would better fit a reckless dps type, more than anything. A job that would thrive off of raid wide AoEs and that would surge in power at very low levels... kinda wish that was a playstyle, TBH, I always play those types of characters when I have the option.
