"Mini" rants

1. As a healer main, I know that if I have regen on a tank and they pull, enemies will aggro on me. However, some tanks only pull on group at a time, others pull multiple groups. So, I see a tank pull one group, they stay there for a few seconds so I think they are only pulling one...so I cast regen, and then they run off. Or, they have regen and leave one enemy of the group alive then pull the next group and I get aggro.

2. Healers that do not heal. I have run dungeons where the healer(normally scholar) decided the dungeon is "too easy" and starts pulling and DPSing everything and people die.

3. Speed running dungeons when there are people new to the dungeon. As a completionist, I want to get the full map achievement. Many times, I ask if we can get the full map, and they refuse, speed running the whole thing. I think if someone specifically asks for it, you should help them get it. That is why I ask if there are new people "do you want the full dungeon?"

4. Fates or high level hunts popping up where my quest is right when I get there. This has happened so many times, I think I just have horrible luck. I have has an aggressive, lvl 50 hunt pop up right on top of the item I need to interact with....I was only lvl 10

5. As a DPS in leveling roulette, I hate when i wait 30 minutes, trying to get into a dungeon so I can level and get gear, and get into Bowl of Embers instead.

6. When you try to give advice and people yell at you, saying they are doing things right. Sorry, but a GLD who is not using flash or any emnity skills, you are not doing it right. I have all 4 enemies on me.

7. Healer class quests -I am a healer, not a DPS. Let me use healing skills for this class quests!

8. Leveling crafting classes- Because of the materials needed, I have given up on crafting classes completely until I get the HOL classes to 60. And even those take forever. I think the walk speed while in stealth needs to be increased.

Usually for me its a SCH who decides they will let the fairy do all the healing then AFK/Follow. Swiftly kicked at the end of the dungeon for being AFK :3 (If a healer replacement is found prior)

1. Keep yourself alive through the aggro, and the tank should get everything off of you in short order?

2. Many dungeons are too easy. There are a fair few earlier dungeons in which Eos alone is enough healing, so why not throw out some DPS? Obviously, the DPS shouldn't come at the cost of party members dying.

3. If you ask, and people are willing to accommodate your request for a full clear, that is great. If you ask and the other three members decide against it, then why should your desire for the full clear be prioritized over their desire to clear quickly?

People aren't obligated to do that. I will help them if I can, but since I'm not usually the tank I can't dictate which direction we should go. That being said, 9/10 I never see a new person asking to be able to get the achievement due to them either not knowing there is one, or not caring.

Getting Ifrit/Titan/Garuda through your leveling roulette is still some of the easiest EXP you will gain through that. Yes, it's not as much as doing an actual dungeon(compare a Sastasha on a 65+ class EXP gain compared to the trial EXP gain, you aren't getting very much for the mobs, so you are really only getting the completion bonus which isn't much more than the trial).

Try communicating with your tank at the start. Most of us are open to healer requests/opinions/wishes. You cant be mad at someone for doing something you never told them not to.

I have asked tanks before how many they are pulling. It normally turns out to be something different than they said.

Oh my god this annoys me so much. Honestly, I wish SE would adjust the enmity mechanics behind Regen. Having it accrue on every single tick is annoying. Hell, even a "grace period" before ticks start generating hate toward the healer would solve the problem...

The tank could always proactively turn off the regen status.
