Tank Accessory Suggestion - Str/Vit

Was thinkin about this while mowing.

It really do think dual stat accessories are the way to do this, but perhas since it an accessory might have both Vitality and Strength, perhaps rather than have Vitality capped or Strength capped, have neither of them capped and allow folks to meld EITHER Vit 6's or STR 6's.

Give us a lil strategy involved with our builds without making us sacrifice all things. You can keep Vit as a HP only, and those who want more DPS can just meld more strength onto items that already have some without having to wear i270 gear.

Currently we are looking at 120 Vit on Tank accessories at 320. And 78 Strength on i270 accessories.

A nice balance would be Vitality 90 Str 50 on each piece. Then when folks meld their 25 Strength, they are close the STR from the i270 accessory but still have 90 vit, and Folks who want the extra HP can get back their vit back up to a solid number, and get a latent 50 STR, which is a solid number.

You could start with the extra vit for progression, then remeld later to str as you get more comfortable. I think most folks would be happy to even give up a secondary stat for this fix.

I offered some modest numbers that I thought wouldn't be overpowering. What do you guys think?

I'd settle for removing the crap that is tenacity for str on acc. I mean I really don't get it ... they take away the crap scaling parry to give us a crap scaling tenacity? When they going to realize that while they both are great stats, anything that scales this poorly will never be wanted.

And if you had followed the news you would know tenacity scaling is actually not as bad as first assumed, an assumption ppl still has apparently. Sure it's not as great as say determination or dhit in pure damage output but it does actually provide you roughly 5% per 1000 according to new tests, which is not that bad.

But on topic, wait for 4.05 patch which comes out at the same time as savage, they already said they will make changes there in regards to tanks. In the meantime use whatever you have available. They will with a very high likelihood block the 270 accessories with 4.0.5 anyway.

Having to choose between HP and STR actually adds some depth to tanking. I'm a bit less upset about it than some others, but I can see how this could bother people.
