Question from a beginner tank

Hello,as the title says im not really experienced in this game to take a tanking roll,thats why i usally stick to healing. Now i wanted to level a Warrior to have some variety in Dungeons and stuff. The question is, do i have to face enemys all the time?`I know it from wow,i fyou get hit from behind your defenses (like block,Evade,Parry,etc) doesnt work. In my leveling time as a healer i noticed that many Tanks didnt care if they get hit from behind or so, only thing important was holding aggro. So im a bit curious if im playing it right to allways pull the mobs so that they i face all of em or doesnt it matter if someone hits my back? Sorry for my bad english,it isnt my language. Thanks in advance for answers.

I have noticed there is not mch difference if the enemies are behind you. They also tend to swarm in a circle around you, so its a little hard. As warrior, you will also have one of your most powerful emnity skills be an AOE cone, so you will want a lot of them to be in front of you though. The only positioning you really need to worry about is bosses. Most of them you will want to make sure they face you, but away from the rest of the party so AOEs don't hit them.

There is a setting in options that snaps your character face to your target on your next attack. Good feature to have turned on.

Hmmm I recall them saying that they can now block from every angles as per one of the letter from the producer live when I was looking into the SB updates. As a tank unless your doing a massive pull they shouldn't surround you or have very large targets that force move them. If anything the CD is what is a bit irritating at times. As for healer you really shouldn't be getting enmity unless you cast before pull is complete or have regen active on your self or other members while pulling. ( Hate it when pets or healer thinks their helping by doing that ) At least from my experience. I have parried attacks from sides and rarely get mobs behind me.

If your languge is spanish im willing to help you, otherwise first of all warrior rigth now is not in his best spot -try pld or drk- but is your decision, and no, donst matter if the mobs attack you behind or from sides, so keep holding agrro :D
