Unable to do anything since the 4.01 patch

Can someone please make a statement to at least let us know you are aware and looking into the issue instead of staying silent?
It's been well over 24 hours since the first reports of this issue were posted, I cannot do anything in game other than walk around, but that even causes the disconnect to start happening.
I cannot use actions of any kind, cannot get any of the menus to load, can't change role/class/job and as of today I can no longer see any posts in chat (of any kind) or use the chat function myself in game. Now at first I had some use of actions and could use my mounts and teleport ect, at first it started when entering the Omega solo instance, I logged back in and went to the FC home, got disconnected there too, tried to run a dungeon, again disconnected. So then I went to South Shroud, Quarrymill, only for it to happen again. After logging back in for the 4th time at this point I was hit with the loss of ability to do anything other than move around for a short period of time.
Personally I was fine until after the patch 4.01, but now I am unable to do anything other than walk around for a couple of minutes at most. I reside in England UK and as stated above I play on Siren server on the Aether data center.
This was the first character I logged onto (as it's my main) after the 4.01 patch, other alt characters (2 of them also on Aether) are fine, play as normal with no disconnects or errors.
So please someone at Square Enix, give us a post or an update on Lodestone to acknowledge us, it's becoming very upsetting for a lot of people and it really does seem like you couldn't care less about your players and fan base.
