Bells around town. /snowball

What are they for?
I know you can activate them by throwing snowballs at them.

Do they do anything if you have reindeer suit on or hit them in each town?

The ones I know of are:
1. Gridinia outside Leatherworker
2. Uldah outside of Thaumaturge
3. Limsa ???

and also... MORE COWBELL!!!!

i think they are just mocking the previous seasonal events with them, where all you had to do was ring bells then craft with the items got from them.

theres also one outside the archers guild in grid, i saw one but didnt think to throw a snowball at them...

Most likely this.

Either that or something special will happen if you hit them all with a snowball
