Now that we're down to one instance what are the chances of increasing his pop time? Or making it something like fox lady where certain fates spawn him? I've been out here all day and nothing.

Not saying it needs to pop every three hours but this whole one spawn every three days and only 1 instance thing is gonna be hell

You mean earned as intended?

Less instances is an unfortunate nerf to the # of total spawns, yes, but we were told instances would be temporary. This didnt come out of nowhere.

As a side effect from the several instances, yes.
But like Fluffernuff said, this is how it's supposed to be, 1 instance for everyone.
Don't worry. There will be plenty of time for everyone to get a chance to get Ixion. Everything doesn't have to be farmed during the first 2 weeks.
Besides, I know several people that "rushed" MSQ (not rly) and still only have rewards enouth to justify 2-3 kills due to all the lag and disconnects during Ixion fight due to the mass of people.

I would be more worried about all the A/S rank hunts that has been spawning in all the instances, all the cracked clusters people have gathered thanks to it and can sell grade VI materia for a high price. You know... Because people got easy hundreds of thousands, if not millions of gil thanks to it.
I know there are people that dislike that aswell.

What's the rush? The reward is very easy to get. You've got 2 years to get 12 horns before next expansion.

If people chose to spend their time in such a way and devote their efforts towards it, then yes? There's no need to be spiteful to those who took advantage of an opportunity you didn't. We're not even a month from the official launch.

14(18) days, guys. 2 weeks. Ixions been out for 2 weeks. It's not like the entire data center has their magical pony.

Do we really need or even WANT FATEs such as Ixion to be "irrelevant" sooner so there's less and less people even doing it in the first place? That's not going to help your chances at getting the horns you require.

The general gist of it is that the sooner it's out of the way, the less you have to worry about missing a potential spawn, the less you have to deny yourself doing other stuff than waiting around for a FATE to spawn.

not sure 1 instance will make much difference.
Think I killed him like 5 times in 8 man groups through the multiple instances and got 1 horn and a bunch of 90k's out of it.

Also, just check the weatherman for him? isn't that how it's done for the world bosses?

Dont think the Ixion weather is bound by normal weather rules.

server resets, as maintenances, reset its spawn timer. It should pop today and atleast on odin it respawned 42-56 hours post kill every time (except the server crashed, than its ~24 hour like after maint)

knowing this doesnt make it really hard to keep track of it and beeing on the map at the right time
