How to make money.

Hi,

So, how should i go about making money?.

I dont have any land or craft class leveled and i really dont have the time to level all of them, so if you had to choose one class only to make money, what would you choose?

I would level Miner or Botanist the stuff that they gather can be used by all crafters.

Any of the DoL classes will yield easy results as long as you keep their gear upgraded, utilize the skills appropriately, and read a guide or 2/do research. It's damn near pure profit outside of gearing. The DoH classes can make a pretty penny too, but it involves a bit more of a time investment since you'll want multiple DoH AND DoL classes for max efficiency, otherwise you're running to the MB too much and in turn will make even less of a profit. Honestly though, work on your DoL classes as often as you can (while in queue, bored, etc.) and once you've gotten them capped/sufficiently leveled, start casually working on leveling your DoH classes. If you go this route you'll have so many options to make gil it'll be easy to make gil at any given time. After you get your DoL classes leveled I'd do something like 1-15 on each DoH and then level them all together to 20, 25, 30, etc.

Ill agree with Laerune. Miner or botanist is the easy way to go. Fishing can be very profitable, but theres SO much more RNG in fishing then there is in mining or botany. Its like real life fishing - you can be in the right spot at the right time with the right bait and still catch the wrong fish. With mining/botany, you go to where the stuff you want spawns, you decide what you want, and you get it. Then you can keep getting it until you have enough. The timed spawns are more annoying, but they tend to sell for more to make up for the fact that you dont get as many.

Here is the business model that I use;

Max out your DoL for one all 3 will help in the long run.

Depending on your retainers ( I have 8 ) I use

3 miner 2 botanist 1 Fisherman 2 hunters

Max them out, place best gear possible for them and let them gather your materials.

Max out your DoH ( super easy ) ( if possible have friends help you craft HQ items and do daily company trade ins and such. )

Craft away and focus on what is popular. For now RDM / SAM is the one inmost demand along with gear for DoH and DoL

If you have airships send out for DoH or DoL Materia. Seek FC help.

You can easy make 1-10mill a day by spending a good hour keeping your retainers fully stocked on selling popular items.
