Server queues
Forgive me if theres a thread somewhere recently on the forums to do with the queues but I can't believe its weeks into the launch of SB and I'm still sitting on 1200+ queues to get into the game.
I transferred from Phoenix (EU) to Omega (EU) and the server has already filled up to capacity. It doesn't feel right that more attention isn't being brought about the horrendous queues at prime time. In my opinion something needs to be done whether thats throw out another server (or two!) in addition to removing the 90 day transfer restriction while it takes hours to log into the game in the evening.
As of the congested world update today 04/07/2017, Omega, which is a new world, is not listed at congested while the queue to log on in the evenings is always over 1000 people...what do other people feel about this?

I think SE is thinking of the comming months, past experiences have shown that MMO servers are the busiest after an expansion and after 8 weeks alot of players take a hiatus or quit which results in a high populated server turning into a mid-low populated server. Servers like Balmung or Ragnarok will always be full, because of their popularity, but not all servers share this fate.
I agree that SE should lock Omega and add a new server (assuming the other servers have high population), but I feel that SE is looking few months ahead and is willing to let players deal with long queue time, if this means the server will still have a decent population after few months.

well, Lousiox is there and not very full. But I do agree they should remove the transfer restrictions. At least for transfered characters that weren't made for getting gil and play time. Our queue times are ridiculous and with my potato pc i get to wait around 3 hours a day since my game crashed regularly...

The servers are overloaded right now due to the release of Stormblood. In a month or so this will calm down and queues will go away. Hang in there!
