Minimum perception for yellow scrips?

On the legendary nodes, I mean.

At 940, I'm only getting 93 collectability per Methodical Appraisal.

I haven't upgraded any of my armor yet, but feel like it might be better to hold off and just get scrip gear for some slots if I don't need to upgrade everything to pull it off.

With 1013 perception , I have 172 per methodical appraisal and i can realize my rotation ( 550-600 )

You posted that rotation thread earlier, correct? I kinda held off on getting the 70 HQ white items cause I was under the assumption I'd be able to kinda get a work around with 894 perception and 678 gp, I'm gonna try a few of your rotations to test, might be a bit RNG heavy, but if it saves me 6 million gil I'd be down lol

I have been gathering for Yellow scrips with pure iLvl 200 blue gear. The standard rotations for the level 70 items (such as Raw Rhodenite) won't work, but it does work very well for Raw Imperial Jade. What I'd suggest is to look at how much a DE + MA does and then try to do a bit of math to get your temporary rotation for the level 70 items. It might not be the most efficient, but getting 25 scrips in a Raw Rhodenite window is better than none!

Yeah,I feel ya, to be quite honest. I might just hold out on getting the gathering scripts altogether for now and just focus on grinding the crafters. That way when the new Masterbooks release I can just make a fresh set and go from there. Seems like its not worth getting HQ white, getting the materia, putting it in for what? Like 25 more perception for a unmeldable piece of gear that'll probably be either -slightly- better, or worse pending on how many melds they let us use for the Masterbooks.

If you are a crafter as well there is zero reason to not make the easy, cheap HQ white gear which is better than scrip gear when melded. If you are not a crafter, I agree that for the gathering classes only, you are probably better off getting the scrip gear since it is easy to get with no cost other than time (and maybe some cordial/food.)

Pre yellow scrips people were selling HQ gatherer gear for lvl70 cheap then prices skyrocketed this week. The irony is that properly melded HQ gear can be better than the yellow sets. Thank god I bought as set day 5 into SB.

In my experience having 1000 perception grants the unbuffed cap of 115 before DE. If you can achieve that with food good. If not... HQ MH and offhand can get you there.

Unmelded HQ 70 set + yellow scrip MH tool / HQ 70 OH gets you to 115 MA on the 1* legendary nodes

I have pretty much scrip gear with s couple ironworks accessories. My gather/perception is only 866/849 with a GP of 645. I can gather the level 68 items fine and would like to upgrade to the new yellow scrip gear. I currently have 1250 yellow but am having trouble getting the Molybdenum Ore collectible. I believe that needs to be 450 collectability and have tried a number of rotations but they don't seem to work.

Any help on what rotation to use or what the minimum gather/perception/GP I would need to achieve these? If there is food that might help me achieve this please let me know.
