Incongruous Frontlines W/L Boasting / Attempted E-Peen

This is my subjective opinion but I do not understand the increasing trend of folks citing their win/loss record in Frontlines. Putting aside the big picture argument of why anyone would debate PvP merits in this PvE game (go play League, Overwatch, or some other real PvP game), those folks need to consider the rewards stay the same whether you win or lose, so who cares? (and wolf marks are not material imo).

Consequently, from a min/max perspective, it's actually better to deliberately throw matches to have games resolve faster, which means one queues faster and gets more tomes/XP. The folks that attempt to peacock in Frontlines would seem to align with the min/max folks, so they should of all people understand how irrelevant win/loss is.

TL/DR: People caring about W/L in Frontlines makes no sense when rewards are practically the same for win/loss. Old person rocking chair complaint of the maintenance window.

Because some of us put in real work in PvP to dumpster people and help win matches. I am very proud as a freelancer that I have a nearly 40% W/L.

Clearly, unlike you, I PvP to compete, not throw matches for EXP.

For the record, I play League and SMITE as well.

I mean, I like winning simply because I like to win. Also I'm terrible at remembering to put my Makai title on, so I still don't have the mount, so I like to win to go towards that. Although to me making sure the Adders lose is still enough of a win to me, I'll take second if it means they take third, just to satisfy my spite.

Some of us are working on Garo achievements and need wins.

In doing so, you ruin the BG for the people who are actually there to PVP. You can get XP elsewhere if you don't want to participate in PVP. They can't PVP elsewhere when it's all filled with people who just want to ruin the match for XP. Try to think about someone other than yourself occasionally. It's like all of those terrible, terrible people who during Children's Week in WoW refuse to actually participate in the BG beyond trading achievements with the other faction and absolutely lose it if you kill the enemy player helping them get the achievements because it's a BG and what you're supposed to do.
