What's the point of Ninja stealth (and trick attack) anymore?

It's an awkward opener (due to speed debuff) and useless thereafter, I'm surprised it didn't get cut with all of the other worthless abilities.

During trash it slows you down and only applies to one target: Useless

During boss: One short debuff and that's it, essentially worthless.

Ummmmm.................What? First of all trick isn't used on trash, we have AOE skills for that. Secondly how you can describe a 10% increase in damage for the whole party several times during a boss fight worthless I'll never know.

I mean you're not likely to use hide for trick attack so much so as to refresh your ninjitsu cd between pulls. Also it's a bit of flavor for the job outside of dungeons/raids.

The trash comment was to make a point. It's worthless there and in boss fights unless maybe I'm misunderstanding? How do you use stealth and trick attack when you can't use it in combat? It's an opener and nothing more unless there's a way to use hide in combat.

You don't, Suiton applies the "hidden" status and trick is used after. So in combat it is used after a ninjutsu

The positional requirement on Trick Attack's debuff still bugs me with how prone bosses/hunts are to spinning/turning in SB,

Granted, we have True North and all, but that's only usable every three minutes.
