Okay, I have disconnected again and again and again from the game while running PotD and we just failed the floor 50 boss because of it. I am pretty sure this is still the work of a DoS against the game servers, and I know it is not my internet as I am not once losing internet connection when it happens.
It's happening to a bunch of people, at least here in Cactuar. Disconnects in the middle of PotD were a thing occurring pretty much since SB hit but they were few and far between, I think it's safe to say either another DDoS or server issues tonight, though, as they started occurring suddenly and with full force.
Kinda weird it's right before maint, though.
It's been happening to my bf and I a LOT.. we're on Primal, Lamia. I also got booted from Tonberry. Only happens when I attack things.
90002 error whenever I change zone, whenever I enter a duty(where it happens repeatedly and constantly to the point where I can't even fight one pack of mobs).
Just now I disconnected after I tried to hit the dummy on my own lawn.
My Internet is stable and not experiencing any issues; I'm a IT systems admin for a living, so I'm not some child on 56k from the antarctic.
Looks like the game itself is refusing your data though, at least from the errors I am experiencing. Usually when the disconnect starts, I continue to receive data from other players; I can see debuffs they put up, I can see stance changes and mounts - But I cannot do anything myself for a full second until it blacks out.
Disconnecting a lot while fighting, otherwise mostly safe
Many 90ks for me too. (Sargatanas) Pretty much the only thing i can do is just stand still. If i teleport, go on a mount and walk for a moment or do something else i just get kicked out >.>
Everything else works fine, internet etc. Just FF is not working >.>
Disconnects from Excaliber as well, if I teleport or after about 5 minutes, in general, I am booted from the game. Hopefully this is fixed soon!
Same on cactuar. Doesn't even load in correctly, doesn't load Fc or Ls info and won't let me talk to Npc.
As suggested by some other people with this issue, I tried using an alt I have never really leveled; and that character can teleport and change zones, as well as fight mobs without disconnecting.
My main can't do any of those things without 90002.
Same problem as others mentioned above, on Mateus. Everytime I mount up, enter a duty or instance (sometimes even just signing up for one), teleport/return or enter combat, I get nigh immediately disconnected with error 90002.
Long as I just walk from area to area not entering combat, entering DF and avoiding teleports, I seem to be fine. But then, that's basically 90% of the game I cannot reliably access sooo yeah.
