1v1v1 pvp us not fun

1v1v1 is a terrible choice for pvp. It always feels like the game is out of your hands no matter how hard you try. This coupled with maps of spawning nodes where if you get too many nodes too far from your starting point, then you lose to luck. 1v1 maps need to be made and should be your grand company vs a random enemy company. I suggest Square dev team to look at other MMOs for reference.

I would have to disagree. 1v1 is easy to steamroll with a premade. When it is 1v1v1 it adds a different element to the game which helps keep premades at bay.

Well... that's why there is Feast!

It's 1vs1, it's got objectives via the buff crates and it has less players so that the individual impact on the game is higher. By now, it also has two different maps, putting it one short of the frontline selection. And to top it off, the main objective is kill based, so there's little PvE in it as well.

You are absolutely right, 1v1v1 is nothing but mindless chaos. Fortunately , and after 3 or so years..., SE realized this very same thing and is going to implement a smaller scale and 1v1 battleground. I can barely believe it myself.

The developers have more then one option to deal with premades other then creating no fun, poorly designed pvp modes. there could be a solo que or something if you're so worried about that.

Feast is supposed to be the arena mode of the game and Frontlines is supposed to be the objective capture mode of the game. both should be fun and well made. Not just one of the modes.

I've played other games with 1v1v1 such as dead island epidemic and they never work. there is almost no comebacks the winning team wins easier in almost every frontline.

Solo queue would kill match times. Having queue'd solo and as part of a premade I can testify that partial parties have longer queue times.

If you haven't seen a comeback in a 1v1v1 match then you haven't done enough frontlines. I have been a part of a comeback and seen comebacks that were just plain amazing. 600 points down to a win. That's where the 1v1v1 element is amazing is the top two can get into a battle and end up losing because they neglect the team in last.

that's why I said "almost". I actually never seen 3rd place make a substantial comeback because points don't stop accumulating. and whenever 2nd place did make a comeback it was because 3rd place interfered i.e. not in your hands again. It just feels like luck instead of strategy or skill.

I like 1v1v1, I just wish we had more than one map. I don't enjoy Frontlines at all. 800 games of feast of which 300 in ranked, 500 in 8s vs like 15 frontlines kinda speaks for itself lol. Seems I missed out on the best of 1v1v1 PvP at 50.
