Remove accessories from guaranteed dungeon loot! :I

(I know some other person maded a threat about this! But I cant find it!) As it say: Remove accessories from guaranteed loots! >_> Did a bunch of SB dungeons and mostly got stupid and useless accessories =_= wich makes the new system more garbage... No fun playing a Stormblood dungeon knowing you possibly get an accessorie, because we all know how our "rng" is! :U .. I thought they brought that new system to attract people into dungeons, or am I misstaken?

Let me guess:

You keep selling the accessories instead of holding onto them cause auto-drop loot cannot drop what you already have in your inventory and armory chest. Resulting in you getting lots of accessories you keep selling.

Because of this if you do not sell what you get it takes a maximum of 10 runs to gear from any particular dungeon because auto-drop does not drop weapons.

The point of the dungeon drops is to help people gear up, not farm glamour.

How is "do a dungeon 10 times to get all your job's gear for it" considered in any way a bad system?

Yeah idk, I actually thought it was a pretty solid addition to FFXIV. Kudos to the dev team.

Leveled up Paladin earlier, ran with level 63 dungeon chest all the way to 70 job equipment since RNG didn't give new one, and guaranteed items were mostly accessories. :p

I feel sorry to whoever was healing me, there was quite big gap in my defenses due low level chest-piece.

No.

If anything, what needs to happen is to make the loot system smarter. For instance, if a piece of gear drops that piece should not be able to drop again during that run. Duplicate drops are pure bs considering everything that could drop.

The next thing I would consider changing is adding weapons to the given item pool, but only after you've collected EVERY piece of that dungeons gear set.

From my experience even for tanks without the xp boost provided by having a level 70 already and FC+food buffs it takes a tank, healer, or DPS 10 runs to level out of a dungeon. So as long as you never sold any gear you got from the dungeon and rolled on everything of your class to get it there should of been no possible way that you leveled through the dungeons and not gotten fully geared out by it excluding weapon. The only possible way is if you were running with the aforementioned XP boosts to reduce the number of runs from 10 to 8.

I would not be surprised if you never noticed because they simply do not play the "you won the item!" sound on boss kill. It just quietly gets placed in your inventory (unless it auto deposits into armory chest based on your settings).

And what if you got duplicate class combos like say... 2x RDM, 2x SAM, 2x BRD? That is why duplicate drops can occur. Not to mention the guaranteed auto-drop was only added on top of the existing system.
