Event - Japanese with Inori

Hello all! Just gauging interesting here right now!

I want to offer (and guess are somewhat forced to do so ^^) a weekly (or every two weeks, dunno, not yet set in stone) event where I intend to bring the language and culture of Japan somewhat closer to you.
Depending on your knowledge, I would even start with full usage of Hiragana when writing, but could easily resort to simple roman letters if people aren't there yet.

Concerning the contents, what would could you expect .. well, stuff like this:
Basic communication - greetings, titles, introduction
Kanji, Hiragana, Katakana - what is it, where did it originate
Basic communication - we just got hungry
Basic rules of behavior - why politeness is of utmost importance
Is it really reverse thinking? The way of building Japanese sentences.
etc. etc.

What this will and should not become:
A place to show off google translator skills.
Me doing some study work for you or your Bachelor thesis whatever - that's all up to you guys ;)
