Could not enter instance for Ixion on Odin

This is not acceptable that players can't enter an instance when big events are happening. Kept getting error that instance is too congested when trying to enter the instance.

There is a limit to how many people can enter a single area, that's why they are broken up into 3 instances right now. It sucks, but it wouldn't be better if so many people could enter that the server crashed.

If you want the instance to crash and 90k several times through out the fight, by all means, request it. Just don't be hissy when you get bronze rating and no horns.

Although some advice? You should be aware of when he'll spawn next and camp the zone like others do.

That is the whole point behind the instances, to keep from having too many in the same area to avoid server crashes.

Networking with others, knowing when the window is open and on which instance, then sitting there waiting for it.

I'm glad they limited it, I remember the mass 90k's that Odin caused back then.

Tbh I think the only proper solution to this problem would be for SE to get better servers. Even on the backwater ghosttown server of the EU datacentre I (and many others) got DC'd repeatedly when Ixion spawned.

I mean, it's not like the servers can handle the load before it sends the capacity message...

I have yet to be able to even fight Ixion without lagging out and finally get 90k

Better idea: make Ixion a trial like they did when they finally realized Odin FATE didn't work.
