Test DPs : Tenacity/Determination/DH

In the first test, i remove my tenacity materias 2 by 2.
In the second test, i remove determination matérias.
In the third test, i add +48 DH points each time..

Each time, the right side won't change.

For those of us who are too lazy to look at your chart...whats the take home message?

Based off your charts I concluded that det is the most beneficial. Since tenacity we already know the margin needed to see a difference is between 500-1000 which you won't get from melds.

If I remember correctly direct hit does nothing for tank damage and is useless. OP should have tested critical hit

The DHIT train of people may run me over here, but isn't Det just mathematically > DhiT for tank?

Working with 520 DhiT melds (left-side), you can add a 14% proct rate of DhiT onto a tank. That's a total increase of about 3.3-3.5% Dmg.

Meanwhile if you meld 520 Det it= 140ish attack power (workin with PLD stat weights), which translates to a 5.5-6% DPS increase for current BIS tank.

No, direct hit works for us but our gear doesn't have it.
