Repeated Disconnects/Extreme Lag For Past Two Days

Perhaps there is no point at all to posting this, but no one else on my FC seems to be having this issue. For the past two days now, I generally have issue staying in game for longer than 15 minutes without being disconnected and, when I am able to be online, I cannot interact with npc's or open menus without having to wait 15-30 seconds for them to open, if I do not just get disconnected straight away. Are others experiencing this as well? Is there a known reason? Better yet, is there a solution other than just not playing and losing game time?

My internet connect is stable and is showing no faults while using other online games or services, only FFXIV as far as can be determined.

I have similar issues. The lag when interacting with NPC's not so much. but the disconnects happen regularly about every 30m or so.sometimes longer, but pretty consistent. prior to the Xpac, it never happened. At all. scince the day I downloaded the Xpac, I've been getting the DC's. the first week was the most severe, every 5-10m. it's toned down since then, but it's still there, and tends to love to happen at very frustrating times. I get an occasional DC, it happens. life in the MMO world. This amount and consistency, however, makes me question if things are truely fixed on the SE side.

Nothing in my environment change pre or post Xpac. I have a very solid internet connectin through a large ISP in a metropolitan area, and my standard ping tests to various public IP's have not changed since I've been doing them in the last few weeks. Other games I play I do not have this issue as well.

I've been having the same sort of issues over the past few days. I don't know if it's the number of people playing or something with the way the servers are processing certain attacks from Red mages or what but I keep getting disconnects. I had a good solid connection all of last week but yesterday and today I've been having trouble with lag. In a dungeon I was kicked out 3 times, and once during a boss fight so bad that it killed me. I don't know what is causing the issue but it would be nice to know if it's something that anything can be done about.
