Please give us the option to increase the size of dialogue boxes in cutscenes

I'm not sure how much it annoys other people, but as I play on a relatively big screen, the relatively small size of dialogue boxes in cutscenes starts to annoy me more and more as I read more of the story.
I hate being focused on 1/16th (might be exaggerated) of my whole screen, reading the tiny dialogue and it distracts me from seeing all the other stuff going on with the character action in the rest of the 15/16th of my screen, and at some point, reading becomes cumbersome enough, I have to try resisting my urge to skip it entirely.

Which dialogue boxes am I talking about? These kinds, as well as any dialogue boxes in cutscenes.

And no, I dont hate text, I love reading dialogue, I try to read everything I can in almost every game I play, and I like my games being majorily text heavy. I love it when a certain particular RPG game series throws at me 1~2 hours worth of well written text in one single section.
Just in this game, reading tiny dialogue boxes becomes particularly cumbersome at times.


Please add the option to increase the size of dialogue boxes in cutscenes, emphasis on OPTION, thank you very much.

I have mine set at 140%

I added a link to specify which kind of dialogue boxes I'm talking about. As far as I know, the regular method to "increase box size to 140%"- shenanigans do not work on them, unless I'm pressing a wrong button.
If so, please tell me, it would be greatly appreciated!

You can't scale the window while in a CS, you can only do it in the open world. I just click a random NPC that talks to me and then right click and choose to scale to 140% then it scales all my dialogue boxes to that size.

Are you on ps4? This is a known issue and they are working on it, you can adjust the sizes outside of CS if you talk to a NPC with more than one dialog box, you have to right click the box and adjust the size, it does reset after every relog though.

You have to do it before the cutscene. The pop-up menu don't show up during a cutscene.

Press the right mouse button on the text and hold it.
Klick on the pop-up menu options with the left mouse button, while still hold the right mouse button.

For PS4 plugin a mouse or switch the conroller to mouse mode.

Wow thank you very much! I did not know these dialogue boxes have a different way to increase their size, as I play on Controller. It is quite confusing that for literally every other HUD element, just a press on R3 is needed in order to change their size, while for dialogue boxes it is necessary to switch to mouse mode.
Wish I had asked this way earlier, too.

I personally would never play this game without a mouse, the controller is great for moving and doing combat but it horrible for everything else like browsing menus, changing stuff around or doing stuff like in this thread.

Haha, I'm actually playing on PC but I do prefer the Controller controls over everything in any non-shooter game. But it's just my subjective preference!
It would be great however for SE to add a controller prompt for increasing dialogue boxes somewhere or make it uniform with the R3 button.
