How long are the queues?

Hey,

im a returning player, I player when there was only Wolfs den and stopped 1 month after FC release, since the queues were terrible.

Now a lot has changed, especially for FC (alliance restriction bone).

How are the queues now in this new mode feast (ranked / non ranked) and FC?

I try to play as MCH (range dd).

Furthermore, back in the day, Wolfs den hat the requirement of 1 tank, 1 heal , 1 range dd, 1 meele dd - is that also gone, at least the split into meele and ranged dd?

Anything else I need to know? :D

there are 2 modes: feast and frontlines.
The Feast has 4v4(ranked) and 8v8(practice):
-4v4, 1 tank, 1 heal, 1 melee, 1 ranged/caster
-8v8 no job restriction

Frontlines, must be your "FC" has 3 modes: secure, seize and shatter. These are 8v8v8 up to 24v24v24.

the fastest Qs are frontlines and 8v8

So , cuz u say "frontlines must be your FC", is still split into the 3 town alliances?
We did choose gridania, was that bad because back in the day, gridania had the longest queues.

Furthermore, can u be more specific? Are we talking about 15-30 min queues or 1-10 min?

Simply put: If you queue for frontline roulette these days AND use the frontline freelancer option in the duty finder menu (up at the top), you'll usually not have queues larger than 5 minutes at the moment. PvP is very efficient for leveling and as a consequence, 72 man frontlines are popping non-stop.

The frontline freelancer option allows you to "fill" in any team to speed up queues - the credit still goes to your home company, the one your character is enlisted in. It still uses the 1vs1vs1 setup with the grand companies, but as said, you can get put on any with that option. Or you can not use it and only fight for your own.

Feast queues... I haven't tried recently, truth be told. You can just check it out yourself I suppose. I'd imagine 8vs8 won't be longer than around 5 minutes either, 4vs4 I could imagine taking like 15 minutes.

Thank you a lot! :) actually sounds pretty good news, I did read a lot on reddit regarding the new pvp changes and so far, it seems like this game made it from "wirst pvp mmo ever" to "pretty decent pvp".

4v4 Feast Queues are fast on Chaos atm, even for ranged. You'll have the most luck queueing during prime time, with queue times ranging from <5 min to up to 10-15 minutes. Depends on the day.

Feast queues are either popping, or they're not. During the day they typically won't pop at all, but once they do start then the queues usually last throughout the night.
