Combo Action Slot

Is there any chance that sometime in the future we will be able to compound all the actions in combo "X" into one action bar slot? Now of course this isnt really a problem right now because we still have some free slots but in the future with jobs and whenever the level cap is increased, we're going to be running tight on space.

So what if (in the future, ie: 2.0) instead of binding weapon skill A B and C to our bar, we had the the option to just bind "Combo A" to one slot instead of taking up 3-4 slots for one row. Because for most combos, there's no real desire (again, you could still just hard slot Rage of Halone if you still wanted to use it without its combo track) to use the weapon skills without initiating the combo. This "combo slot" would then turn purple and automatically change to the next WS in the series when the preceeding ws was successful. This would save a lot of room on the bar and take away a bit from the occasional.

Also the combos would also be syncronized so if I had a Pummel>Aura Pulse set to one action slot, and beside it was Pummel>Concussive Blow>Simian Thrash, then once Pummel was successful both Combo slots would turn purple and "upgrade" to Aura Pulse and Concussive Blow respectively.

Just a thought. It would still be option of course so if you wanted to be able to manually do one skill after another or just hard slot one for whatever reason you still could.

Let us remove skills from our action bar please! I know it isn't necessary right now because there is room for every skill and all the skills for the most part are worth keeping on the bar... its just frustrating that they're glued there.

I think they've said that in version 2.0 we'll be able to bind macros to our action bar, so that would be one way to set up a "combo button"-type thing manually. I would imagine with the possibility to add macros (and items) they'll need to allow us to remove skills if we so choose, though that's certainly not guaranteed. It's a less elegant solution than an actual combo button, but having a button do all the work for us (aside from positioning) could be considered too easy by some. We can even set it up now by ourselves, though it would be on the alternate bars for macros rather than on the easily accessible action bar. At least it's something!

Nothing to say we won't get a 4th bar when they increase the cap.

You can already make a combo button using macros for what its worth.

2.0 will allow us to add macros to the action bar, they have it figured out already so it seems.

i hope they will make it so we can show all the rows of abilothies at once, that means 30 abilithies ^^

This is actually similar to how it's done in Aion, though I expect that's where the OP go the idea from.

Only in Aion you can't use combo actions outside of the combo. In this game we can. That's where the logic fails. To do it for convinience (mash the one button to do combo) is fine. But not truncate all three into one.

First, they stated "option" as in the option to combine them, but not forced or required. So yes, it was likely for convenience.

How would a single button like that show cool down timers for all three of the relevant abilities at once, out of curiosity? Which is really what the major issue with that would be.
