Short Queue then error 3070 then a long Queue!

So I was in a short queue, only 700 (though it did take 45 mins) only to be put in an error 3070 saying the World Data could not be obtained. Then I tried getting in again, it put me in the map screen but then I could hear the 'queue' noise in the background as well as the menu music. After 2 mins it just booted me out of the game. Surprise, surprise, now I'm back in a queue but it's longer than before.

So what's going on? I am glad the queues a longer because of the flush but what is up with the 3070 error? Should I even bother tonight?
