I thought people only purchased things from the MogStation to support the devs and make FFXIV a better game for everyone.
Seriously though, buying something because it might become something you want in the future is a bit ... silly. Just wait until it is what you want. Where is the incentive to put work into making it fly if people keep buying it when it doesn't?
If you wanted to buy a flying Sleipnir, you should have waited till a flying Sleipnir existed. You knew it wasn't yet what you wanted and bought it anyway. You're not even sure if it was actually said that it would fly, your first post is checking that that's actually the case.
I just don't understand the thought process here.
He's said on numerous occasions that he wanted to make it in to a flying mount. It's a bit odd that they haven't done it already, especially considering that it would make perfect sense based on Norse mythology.
Well, the good news is that it probably will end up flying at some point. The bad news is that it's probably somewhere below egi-glamours, a bunny costume for men and the butt slider meme on the to-do list.
When it can fly I might end up buying it. :p
Well it was also said that the old Tank mounts would be able to fly at some point but instead they put in some reskins with Armor wich can fly. (Only obtainable by tanking 300 dungeons at lvl 61 or above). The old ones will stay Ground mounts. What i have learned: Dont take anything SE says to seriously when it comes to Mounts or shopitems.
That's your own fault for coming to an incorrect conclusion. Yoshi never said it would fly on SB launch. He said they plan for it to fly during SB, but not when. Also every other mount on Mogstation states they can fly, while Odin does not.
For the millionth time we've heard this on XIV forums this week: Do your research before you transfer to Omega....ugh, I mean, do your research before you confirm ANYTHING. Ever.
