Free Tanking - If you can cope with it...

I quit playing about 18 months ago but had to jump on the SB wagon and loving this game all over again!

Now I find that many many things have changed since I unsubbed and I'm starting to try and get my (VERY) rusty tank skills back into operation again! I wasn't too shabby back in the day but I just need to get back in the groove again

Anyways - long story short I bloody hate Duty Finder and I honestly don't need all the emo crap whilst I get myself sorted out initially and I know a lot of other people hate DF as well for the same reasons. So if you are tired of long queues and would like to join up with a tank who may be a little slow at first whilst i get the new rotations sorted out just give me a shout in game. Usually on from 20:00 to midnight(ish) GMT.

Just to be clear - I'm not mercing! Deal is you get a (reasonable)(ish) tank with no queues and I get a few guys who will make allowances for rusty tanking whilst I get up to speed again. I have WAR,DRK,PLD all on 60 so i get to level as well! - though I'll be running on PLD

And who knows we all get to make new friends :)

Have you considered looking for a friendly FC? I am sure quite a few of them would benefit from a decent tank, albeit a rusty one. (Which in my opinion, is nothing to be worried about - that rust is gone a few dungeons later.)

I'd mention our own FC - but we're a bit tank heavy already at the moment and probably for the majority of members a little far from the content you're interested in as we recently joined the game with a reasonable group of folk.

Either way I just wanted to leave my 2 cents. You seem like a nice person - hopefully you can find some friendly folk and make some friends.

But if you choose not to go that way, I'm almost always up for some fun when I'm online. So if you're heading into a dungeon, and need a healer - look me up.

Thanks for the replies Guys. I am a member of a really fantastic FC. We are quite small though and all have busy lives so was really looking to optimise play time as much as possible. Thanks for the responses though :)

Hey not sure what times your on but I'm usually online either early or late EST. I'd be glad to help if you can catch me online, I'm already 70 but I need friends an i like helping anyway xD
