Discussion: What would get you to transfer servers?

First off, this is a discussion. No complaining about why the issue exists or who is at fault. This is to see the issue of few people transferring off congested worlds and what great lengths or simple solutions would help people decide to transfer, if even possible.

Just say whatever it would take to make you change to a new server, no matter how outrageous (all your friends suddenly hate you, 1 million dollars!, ect) and give in depth ideas on what is needed (FC transfer, etc).



For myself, I'd need to be able to forcefully transfer my entire FC including the ones offline for a long time - I try to keep the FC ready for returning members so they don't come back with everything gone. Very unpractical, but I don't want to leave my members with just memories if they play again, so I can't transfer off.

They would have to give me between 50-100 million gil to leave, so I can get a house immediately on the new server. They would also have to give me double the weekly tome cap as well.

An officially labeled roleplaying server, and my apartment could be moved without having to put everything back in.

Information on FC incentives could certainly move things along.

As someone who owns a FC with housing, a medium personal, has full access to 2 other homes on Gilgamesh, with plenty of friends, LS connections, and gil, I have very little to gain by switching servers. That said, I would not be against it if my FC and FC mates benefited from the transfer, such as available large FC housing and transferring airship progress, to start.

Also the ability to move entire FC's as well.

Possibly a new server designated for RP. Other than that, nothing.

-Housing guarantee. People who transfer while owning houses/apartments should be allowed to keep that plot on the new server if they want; if they don't, then the pre-existing housing compensation is fine.

Alternatively, a rebuild of the horribly designed housing system (unlikely).

-A system to facilitate FC transfers with no loss of rank, credits, or assets such as housing and airships.

-Designated RP tag.

Make it 5 and they've got a deal.

8 months ago I was on a "dead" server. S/E and the community said to transfer to a high pop server if I didn't like it. I transferred and gave up gill and housing. Now I'm being told to transfer to a low pop server? Refund my server transfer, give me back my small house and give me back the lost gill.
