If anybody is running this in 4k, how many frames are you getting? I only seem to get like 20-30 fps. I have a 980, I5 4.4 and 16 GB RAM. What would I need to upgrade to get decent performance?

I'm running the game in 4k and getting 60 fps... got a 1070, 16gb ram, i5 7600. Seems like we have quite the same specs (980 +- = 1070). My graphics settings are not maxed though? Have you tried lowering them?
To effectively run a game at 4 with 60 fps, your graphic card needs at least 6GBs of VRAM on it. I know for a fact that the 980 does not as I have the same card and it only has 4GBs.
NOTE: I am not saying that this the only thing you need to look at, I just know this is the minimum requirement or else you cannot get consistently 60 fps at 4k.
EDIT: In response to the post that was made while I was typing mine out, the 1070 has 8GBs of VRAM.
i can run at max 4k 70-80 fps lol
Running 4k with 2 gtx 1080 ti's .
Frame rate can vary though due to what is going on.
e.g. Overlooking the bay in mist is around 128fps -167fps as I pan and tilt .
edit : not overclocking gpus and max settings. cpu = I7 7700k @ 5GHz
Hmm so you think I probably need a 1070 or 1080 then? By the way the CPU is an I5 3570.
I get an average framerate of 56 FPS at max settings with a 1080 Ti, i7 7700k and 32GB of RAM. So I use Nvidia's preferred settings (which actually only check LOD) to get an average of 60, sometimes it will dip a bit under 50 FPS but otherwise, perfectly playable.
