An observation {Partial Spoilers]

So I just got to the point where we found out where Kryile was taken and that they did "something" to the Butcher lady (Foldorema?) and at the end we saw Thancred in the shadows going "Found you".

So it kind of hit me at that point that this is getting VERY VERY FF 6/7 like.

The Butcher I am guessing is going to be a Cloud/Kefka like person that is injected with ather/magic from others to boost her own abiliites.

And Hojo...erm I mean the Garlean Scientist guy (forgot his name) is basically trying to do to Garlean's what they did to Kefka in ff 6 (grant non magic users magic power).

I dont want any spoilers past this but....out of curiosity are my guesses on the right track?

Yes, though it ends up being a bit more complicated then that.
