The real problem with tanks in Stormblood...

In a world where all the other roles got exciting new outfits, all the tank armour I've found so far is yet more flanchards, pauldrons and spikey platemail.

If I don't find something more lightweight and elegant soon I swear I'm going to roll RDM just so I can wear some twelve-foresaken Eikonic Leather of Casting!

After reading your post I didnt even need to look at your character portrait to know you play a cat. Your armor doesnt matter when you're facetanking the floor its ok, noone will notice

Of course it does! - That's why flanchards are right out, they cover my butt when I'm lying face down!.

Eh, the Ghost Barque set from the Sirensong Sea, while simply a dyable Eikonic piece, looks pretty nice on tanks. The pauldrons aren't too bad on it either, unlike the Xenobian set from the 69 dungeon, which would be much better without those godawful tanks on its shoulders.
