Still no writeup online though we've had several wins already. Seems like everyone on our server stuck in same spot. How exactly to survive sufficiently that merry go round ability and what exactly to do immediately after?
Any thoughts?

I ignored the forums until after beating Moogle so I haven't been paying attention but I'd be surprised if there isn't a good deal of battle info already up here. It's kind of disheartening to see this kind of thread because it comes across like you're giving up on figuring it out on your own. It hasn't even been 2 days yet. Are you guys pausing between every attempt or every few attempts to try to analyze what's going wrong and how to fix it? If you're losing after Memento, have people check their logs to see where their damage is coming from if it'll help. There are actually very few elements to this fight and once you get them handled you'll win, so I encourage you to keep trying because there probably isn't a lot in between you and winning already.
If you're struggling to survive Memento regularly, I'll throw you a bone there. The only moogle that's acceptable to have left alive going into Memento is the PLD (Whiskerwall). It's quite doable to beat all the moogles before Memento (there's even a lodestone history entry for it) but you don't have to rely on that. When the moogles gather up to summon the king, use a prism stoneskin. After the king emerges, have everyone use sentinel.
Only did it about 10 times or so but, the more moogles you kill in phase 1 before the big AOE, the less dmg. Sent + stoneskin + rampart is quite nice. After that we haven't decided a kill order other than taking out the mages then thf then brd then ..........unknown
Edit for Moogle kill order for us:
Blm - Whm - Thf - Arc - Mrd - Brd - King - Gld
I think we do: BLM > ARC > BRD > WHM > King > MRD > THF > GLA.
The idea is we get the blm outta the way first then the ranged attackers (hard to kite cuz they keep stopping), then the WHM so King doesn't get cure until we kill him. Then cleanup the rest in order of annoyance.
We have a theory that for each moogle you kill in phase 2, king gains an ability they had. This is why we don't want to kill WHM second cuz the. He heals BRD and ARC as we kill them (assuming we changed order to BLM > WHM > ARC > BRD) and king's heals for huge amounts compared to WHM. Someone in LS noticed this, not me. Seems to be true though..
This is a basic outline of how my group does it.
Setup: GLA, 2x CNJ, 2x ARC, THM, and 2x other type of DD like LNC/MRD/ARC/PGL.
The order for moogle killing is: BLM > THF > ARC > WHM > BRD > MRD > KING > GLA.
You want to zerg the crap out of the GLA at the start. This includes the CNJs and the THM . They need to nuke the hell out of it. If one of them gets hate DO NOT RUN. It wastes valuable DD time. If you do this process correctly, you can kill all moogles with about 40-1:10 seconds remaining before Memento. HOWEVER they will instantly raise and perform Memento and hit you for 600ish Damage at a fast rate so be quick.
When the last Moogle goes down you want to gather and use protect/stoneskin/sentinel/rampart/sacred prism/cure. The such. Then you need to follow the order. The LNC/MRD can hold there own tanking the current Mog that the party is facing. The Archers need to BIND the Gladiator so it doesn't kill the mages, while also DDing the current target. (Binding helps a LOT). The Gladiator needs to do his best by grabbing hate on the MRD/King Moogles and kiting them in a circle around the map. If a DD has hate on the MRD they need to kite it until the Glad can get hate back. If your team is good enough you can kill up to 4ish-all moogles easily doing this.
Mages/Arcs need to stay the hell away from the AoE Mogs like the Mrd/King/Blm. Do not take these Mogs to a mage because if they AoE the fight can go south fast. Another tip. After the WHM is dead try your damn best to keep the King away from the current target. Also if a Mog goes big, KITE IT!!!
If you have to wipe, call out who has raise up. Do not waste time and sit around twiddling your thumbs because every second counts. You can kill about 7 moogles in 12 minutes if your team knows what they are doing. Use the Raise tactic if you have to, but it is entirely possible to to do this without a wipe. When you Raise do NOT move because the Moogles will not aggro. If possible change to CNJ so the person being raised will not suffer weakened. Raising the tank with a CNJ is a MUST!!! On Phase 2 is you wipe, have your THM change to a DD if they can because they are going to pull way too much hate and waste time.
DD's kiting multiple mogs if they have hate allows for them to take less damage, and mages can heal them easily.
When you get to the King Mog you should have roughly 4-6 minutes left. The Gladiator only requires 1 minute or so to kill. ZERG him.
That's how my group does it anyways, and we win. I received two weapons yesterday. This method may not be the best or even the fastest but it works and is efficient. Good luck, hope the tips help.
