Major lag post Stormblood - suggestions?

Hello all,

Since SB launched I noticed that my lag is really bad. Hunts it is terrible, but instance content like Palace or dungeons is critical. I play healer often and I find it hard to dodge mechanics or respond to tank busters.

I play on wifi, but this was NEVER an issue pre stormblood. I am trying a game VPN to help. I am not sure if it is helping nor do I know any good ones that actually work. I have WTFast at the moment, but it is expensive 10 bucks a month with is almost what I pay for sub. game VPN doesn't seem right

also, my processor and GPU are good. I have a newer system with a 4gb 1050ti gpu and a i5-7300HQ. I dont think I have a hardware issue since i get extremely high on benchmark.

Any suggestions? What game VPN is legit and should it be necessary to have a good gaming experience?
