why increased specs and lower framerate

i used to run at 60 fps maximum graphics in directX 11
now i get 40 fps
in general i don't understand the increased requirements and worse performance since nothing has changed graphically for the better ,armour is still low res low poligon,no armour physics and so on
what gives

The number of active players is currently much higher. This is an important point when it comes to FPS.

Try limiting the amount of showed player characters?
Dunno, I have locked the framerate to 85 and hasn't dipped from there. Could be that the amount of PC's on screen, the shadows they cast and so on are causing issues.
Also I guess the general tips would be, update your drivers, make sure everything is ok hardware wise etc, but you've probably done that already. It's most likely your hardware reaching its limit.

I'm running at 3440x1440, max settings.

There has been no drop in FPS for me.
