Moogle fight = Good. Everything else = What the ****?

It's bad enough we have to compete for NMs. Or that we can't see what the **** we're doing 90% of the time due to the stupid tress. Or that those same trees link with the aggro enemies in the zone.

The moogle fight itself? Cool. It's challenging, and it's something different.
But to have to do this crap every time? Maybe it's a bug SE just hasn't addressed yet? This is a great example of what not to do. This isn't challenging, it's just tedious, and lousy design. No one's going to want to keep fighting Mog when we have to keep doing this.

Competition is least of the worries, infact you find most people willing to help each other.

I agree with the OP this isn't how you do good content, I see no reason why you have to do this more than once anyway, that includes farming for the ifrit latern aswell, its just convoluted bullshit.

I agree with the OP. Doing these NMs over and over is not fun to me. There were so many trees I couldn't see anything. How the heck do I know if an aggressive mob is near me that will link these deadly guardians if the leaves block all visibility? UGH. I love everything about this patch EXCEPT the moogle NMs. lol

i sure as hell hope not. FFXI was fun until i found out the glory of certain aspects of other games... such as sans sub target.

i dont get why they dont just think "hmmm, every single time is tedious, how about every 5 or so times? or maybe Kill 1 or 2 NMs every other time"
i dont get their time sink mentality at all.
