SE Please fix Gathering Achievements! Was this a mistake?

This has to be a mistake, or something that was not very well thought out at all! If this is true then the luminary pickaxe/hatchet will be almost unachievable.... You need to mine a total of 21,000 nodes (7k in each city). NOT INDIVIDUAL ATTEMPTS!!!!

Of those 21,000 points you need to mine, you need to complete all attempts for each node. So on average I'll just say 7 swings/attempts on each node for a lvl 50 miner/botanist.

21,000nodesx7swings= 147,000 swings/attempts. That doesn't include all of your running time etc. That is way way way higher than getting lvl 50 miner. It's insane! The pickaxe isn't even that good! I mean honestly at lvl 50 miner, who has problems with output, gathering, or perception? I was expecting the item to have an effect like: "100% success on item aimed for." or "obtaining legendary ores." Meaning that having the luminary pickaxe/axe will allow you to obtain items only obtainable with the luminary pickaxe/axe.

Do you think SE will revisit this?

If it was the other way around and you got point from a swing/attempt instead of completing a node, then 21,000points/7 swings/attempts per node. Then you would have to mine 3,000 nodes. Which is still quite a feet, but at least it's achievable and far better than 147,000 swings, or 21,000 nodes.

I think the crafting tools are fine, and right where they should be. But these needs reconsideration please. Please sign or like if you agree. Or even disagree post something.

21,000 nodes at 5 minutes a piece on average. This would take you 1750 hours, or 72.9days of straight mining at that pace. If you mined for 3 hours a day straight it would take you 583 days. If you mined for 2 hours a day it would take 875 days. If you mined for 1 hour a day it would take you 1750 days, or 5 years. All of that for a pickaxe that has slightly better stats than a cobalt pickaxe. Like I said earlier mining stats don't even matter that much at lvl 50, and you're going ot have all the mats you need with that much mining.

The problem, i think, is that they didn't track how many craft do you do before implementing the achievements. All the other stuffs there were already "achievements" for them on the lodestone.

If it is like i think there is no way possible to fix it.

Well the thing is. I know I didn't mine nearly that many nodes to hit 50. I was doing levequests etc, for far more exp. Even if you got 1xp per attempt you'd still end up with 147,000 Exp, 150% of what it takes to go from 49-50. Just with 1xp per attempt. This is patheticly nuts. Should be on the news when someone obtains it for a game making such crazy "achievements"

You did it backwards man.. 21000/7 = 3000 gathering points. 1 Succes = 1 gathering not 1 full node.

As above said each gather = 1 point towards the achievement, I believe someone said a fail is also counted as 1 point.
