How hard would it be to create an Activity Combat Tracker or allow a third party tool by ps4 users? I would like to know the damage I put out or find out where I screwed up on a parse by myself and not have to rely on pc player. I know its illegal by TOS and that you are turning heads away and allowing pc users to use them. I have nothing against users I just want the same freedom. Its been 3 to 4 years of the game so why not make something. I will never play on pc ever I'm console for life. Most raid/endgame groups rely on parsers/fflogs to get in a group, just stating a fact. I'm no pro but I would like something so I can see where I need to fix stuff. End of story. I tried talking to playstation but they said Square Enix is the one that has to allow.:(

This has been addressed over, and over, and over, and over again in his Live Letters.

Parsers will never be a thing in FFXIV, officially. He made that extremely clear during the Fan Festivals.

However, he is working on an in-game system that could potentially help players learn. He would not divulge beyond that.

They just don't see parsers as a necessity, and find the cons much outweigh the pros.

The whole Stone Sea Sky thing was supposed to be our in-game parser, but no one liked to utilize it as it's solo and it doesn't give any hard numerical feedback. It just drops a big training dummy and gives you a time attack challenge that supposed to indicate your damage output being high enough for an instance.

PVP gives hard numbers on damage done and amount healed, so between the two we are halfway there to having an actual parser, but until the community can prove it won't breed too much toxicity, we won't see a team one.
