Can't cap FPS - Game is running like a floored Engine ...

Hey Folks!

I am stuck at this point.

I run the Game on a GTX 1080 Ti and on a 144Hz 1080p Screen. My Issue now is, that the game runs with 200 FPS - No matter what option i Choose. Right now I use the ingame Limiter to 144 but it doesn'T work. game just runs like hell with over 200 FPS.

I tried Nvidia Inspector FPS Limiter - Game doesnt care.
Nvidia Control Panel FPS Limit - Game doesnt care
MSI Afterburner - RivaTuner FPS Limiter - Game doesnt care

There is simply no way for me to cap the FPS. What the heck?

Running the game in the DX11 Client - Is there a bug in it? Should I use the DX10 one? Please assist, because when the game runs with 200+ FPS, it just runs into heat issues while dungeons and raids and crashes my DX Drivers.

fyi since no one bothered: It had to do with the DX 11 Client. You can't use any FPS Limitation on it - And so the Game runs with your full power. Sadly, for a good PC, that means 200+ FPS and alot of heat.

Switched to the DX9 Client and now I can cap it.
