Is anything going to be done to manage the new housing plots? (rememeber 3.4)

In 3.4 you could be spaming the log in button, disconnect because of server problems, only to be met with a 15 minute queue. A 15 minute queue of trying to log in the split second servers went live. All the plots where gone by the time that queue was up.

Now I see we can't even enter our houses because there is too much load, how do you expect the servers to handle stress if they can't handle already what is shown? Is there plans to upgrade servers or something?

It is that or increase the prices of housing to match the demand and how much people have, gil wise. The houses are too cheap when you have all these people collecting free gil the game gives you. There is no way people should get housing based on being lucky if the server does not disconnect them or not, let the people buy houses that put effort in it, and pooling their money in for a FC house.

Is this a high pop server issue or did housing instances crash recently? I just started moving my furnishings before I went to bed and was planning to finish later.

I can't answer that because I do not know how they manage entering housing instances. Someone else made a thread on how it was preventing them to move because they can't go inside to demolish the FC room. It does not let you enter if too many people are using housing instances.

Most of these issues seem to be unique to balmung and gilga (the two big), but if you dare to suggest a transfer they'll gut you for it...

I mean, I fully expect to have time to log in and job hunt at my leisure. Assuming your server doesn't crash the datacenter again. Why not convince your FC to move en masse to one of the preferred servers? It would solve a lot of problems.
