Stormblood is becoming the opposite of FF15

FF15 is described as the bro road trip game. Since I have a female WoL, this is turning into the exact opposite with Alisaie and Lyse tagging along.

Since I'm a guy does that make it more like a harem title? :)

(Kidding, the Admiral is the only woman for me.)

Seriously though it's always great to see how many decent female NPCs this game has, in spite of some equality issues elsewhere.

Well to some Degree you had a Bro Tour in Heavensward at many points. So it is kind of fair that it is this time the other way around. :)

I've just unlocked diving, and I already find Lyse and Alisaie more likable and relatable while also happy to see how active they both are in everything.

Yda never did much for me, but Lyse is quickly becoming my favorite of the companions we've had.

I just unlocked diving too and I'm actually sad that we left Alphinaud behind ;_; He's still my favourite, but this expansion seems to want to replace him with his sister.
Lyse is great, I really like her.

Hien = Cor

I've thoroughly enjoyed the development both Lyse and Alisae have received so far into the MSQ. They're sassy, snarky, have their flaws and their strengths, and have this nice Big Sister-Little Sister vibe going for them at times, similar to what Alphinaud and Estinien had. I was a little worried going into Stormblood that neither had proper time to receive their own identities thoroughly beyond some 2-dimensional templates, but by the time you're out of the Ruby Sea, both have really grown into their own characters.

I'm so glad alphinaud gone for the moment that I didn't even notice he was gone.

Heavensward was the Wizard of Oz.

Alphinaud, Estinien and Ysayle / The Lion, the Tinman and the Scarecrow, all conspicuously flawed characters, join you on a literal yellow brick road to go meet Hraesvelgr / the Wizard of Oz.
